Faith that Can Move Mountains

Nasreddin Hodja was determined to prove his faith. He prayed fervently to Allah to move a mountain towards him but nothing happened. People, started to laugh. Great is Allah, said Hodja. If Allah has brought the mountain here it would have crushed us. How stupid of me to pray for something so vain. If I need the mountain I can go to it. No need of Allah moving it here.

Horsing

Sir John was in love with Lady Mary. Every day he was riding his white horse under her window hoping to attract her attention but in vain. One day he decided to paint his horse green thinking:
“When I pass under Lady Mary's window she will ask me why my horse is green an I will answer: because I love you!”

The next day Sir John was passing under Lady Mary's window on his green horse.

“I love you Sir John!” - cried out Lady Mary

“And I have a green horse!” - replied Sir John.

Laziness

"Laziness is the mother of any genius" said Pushkin (a famous Russian poet of African ancestry and himself ancestor to the current heir to British throne). Still slouching on the couch wont do. A real genius must be lazy creatively. You must be really inventive to find ways to be lazy and prevent anyone bothering you. Actually clever people master that art all their lives :)
